Overview

This Summer Solstice Healing Retreat is lovingly designed especially for elders and for anyone seeking a gentle, restorative experience focused on healing, rejuvenation, and deep rest.

The retreat takes place in an idyllic, pristine setting within Serra da Estrela National Park, one of the most unspoilt and energetically powerful landscapes in Portugal. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and ancient rock, the land holds a strong yet soft spiritual energy that naturally supports healing and renewal.

Water is central to this retreat. The region is known for its exceptionally pure, mineral-rich mountain water, traditionally associated with rejuvenation of the skin, nervous system, and overall wellbeing.

This is not a physically demanding retreat. All practices, excursions, and daily rhythms are slow-paced, accessible, and optional, with full permission to rest at any time.

The Setting – The Mountain Quinta

Accommodation is in a beautiful mountain quinta (farmhouse) set on private land in the village of Lapa dos Dinheiros, high in the Serra da Estrela mountains.
