ABOUT
"A unique and evocative form of artistry which gives voice to timeless wisdoms”
Nicolas Brown - BAFTA and Emmy award winning documentary film director
Her forthcoming album, The Ten Faces of Kali, continues this journey of musical storytelling, channeling the fierce and beautiful Goddesses of the Mahavidyas. Across all her offerings, Sangita creates spaces of remembrance, of source, of songlines, and of our sacred connection to nature.
Her life now flows between the banks of the Narmada and the ancient sites of Cornwall. Her body of work and teaching carry the sounds which have emerged from her immersion in mythic culture and the wilds of nature.
Alongside her artistic career, Sangita offers pilgrimages, teaching, sound-healing, and bespoke ceremonies – sharing her artistic practices within the context of the culture and traditions from which they arose.
"Expect a blend of mantra singing, romantic poetry, and electronic music; a sound tapestry which she offers up in devotion to the Great Mother. Her work pulses with a voice that is sensuous, and awakened to these times”
